　　藝術(shù)史教師出身，后轉(zhuǎn)型為藝術(shù)家和藝術(shù)節(jié)策劃人。15年后轉(zhuǎn)行互聯(lián)網(wǎng)行業(yè)，為非營利性機(jī)構(gòu)構(gòu)思、設(shè)計(jì)教育類游戲。之后入職一家影視制作公司，擔(dān)任藝術(shù)總監(jiān)和概念開發(fā)人員，積累了豐富的品牌推廣和市場(chǎng)營銷經(jīng)驗(yàn)。4年后，入職兩家兒童教育雜志，擔(dān)任主編。8年后，回歸文化產(chǎn)業(yè)，在博物館等文化機(jī)構(gòu)擔(dān)任顧問和概念開發(fā)人員，主管經(jīng)驗(yàn)概念和跨媒體溝通。2008年起，擔(dān)任COMMiDEA董事和獨(dú)立顧問。COMMiDEA是一家小型服務(wù)機(jī)構(gòu)，業(yè)務(wù)涉及博物館概念、觀眾參與策略和“遺產(chǎn)未來主義”。

　　現(xiàn)任E30基金會(huì)主席、荷蘭公共圖書館創(chuàng)新委員會(huì)成員，以及萊茵沃特學(xué)院的發(fā)言人和副講師。同時(shí)也是文化遺產(chǎn)專業(yè)知識(shí)網(wǎng)絡(luò)“Heritage 2.0”的創(chuàng)始人。2015年取得荷蘭蒂爾堡方提斯學(xué)院藝術(shù)教育碩士學(xué)位。

　　Originally trained as an art & art history teacher, Theo Meereboer worked as an artist/art festival organizer. After 15 years he decided to move to the internet. He learned to concept and design educational games for non-profits. After that he worked as art director/concept developer for a television production company, where he also learned a lot about branding and marketing. Four years later he became editor in chief of two educational children's magazines. After eight years he moved back to the cultural sector, where he was consultant/concept developer for museums and other cultural institutions, specialized in experience concepts and crossmedia communication. Since 2008 Theo Meereboer is director and independent consultant at COMMiDEA, a small agency for museum concepts, engagement strategies and 'heritage futurism'. He is also founder of Heritage 2.0, a knowledge network for heritage professionals, president of E30 Foundation and member of the Innovation Council for the Dutch Public Libraries. He is also a speaker, presenter and associated lecturer at the Reinwardt Academy. Theo received his Master degree in Art Education at the Fontys Academy of Arts in Tilburg in 2015.
